I am very sad to be the barer of this bad news, but Modern Rifles have decided to disband. We are all still very good friends, but sometimes things just run their course. This is one of those times. We all would like to thank everyone that supported our band and inspired us to make the music we have made. You all mean a very great deal to us.
Brian is currently in a band called Boyscout. If you haven’t seen them, you should. They are amazing. As for the other three of us, I will keep you posted on what everyone is going to be doing. I don’t know what the future holds, but I know the end product will be more great music.
I am very blessed to have found such talented and passionate people to share in the creative outlet that is music. I have not only found great musicians, but lifelong friends. We have decided to play three last shows together: The Ken Club on October 17th, Mr. Tiki on October 31st, and the last show to be announced (possibly in the month of November).
Thank you
Dan, Jon, Daryl, and Brian
